Our Mission & Vision
SBE-VIT, a community of aspiring biotechnologists, is a platform for scientific dialogue and disseminating awareness amongst all those interested in the field.
Through our events, content and projects, we aim to add value to the biosciences field. In an effort to strengthen scientific collaboration, we are also expanding outreach and working with biology chapters globally.

Connecting People
To make the Society for Biological Engineering the professional association of choice for engineers and applied scientists with interest in the broad area of biological engineering. To provide opportunities for successful interaction of engineers and scientists.
Cultivating Knowledge
To develop products and services which are cost effective, relevant, and bring value to the broad biological engineering community.
Catalyzing The Future
To infuse awareness of biological engineering among all functions and activities of SBE, in particular; continuing education, membership, government relations, meeting programming (especially co-programming and alliances with other organizations) and publications.
